Loctite 88442 (Series 272) is a high-strength, high-temperature threadlocker in liquid form supplied in a 50 mL bottle. It provides a fast cure on most surfaces including "as received" fasteners and is engineered for metal fasteners. The product offers high breakaway torque (e.g., 159 lb/in for 3/8-16 steel nuts grade 2 & bolts grade 5 after 24 hr at 22°C; 200 lb/in for M10 steel nuts & bolts after 24 hr at 22°C). Full cure time is 24 hours with a working time of approximately 30 minutes. It withstands maximum operating temperatures up to 450°F. Removal is by hand tool or heat.
