LOCTITE Retaining Compound RC 635 (50 mL) is a high-strength, slow-fixturing retaining/threadlocking compound formulated for bonding slip-fitted parts and retaining rotors to shafts in fractional and sub-fractional horsepower motors. It fills gaps up to 0.015 in and offers shear strength of approximately 2900 PSI. The product is heat resistant with usable temperatures from -65°F to 400°F and reaches full cure in 24 hours. Activators/primers such as 7471(TM) or 7649(TM) may be used for improved bonding on challenging substrates.
