It has the capacity for quickly cutting clean, precise threads in plastic-coated pipes to get the job done with efficiency and accuracy. This convenient, factory-set alloy RIDGID die head is built for longevity and creates an American Standard National Pipe Thread (NPT) seal that is ideal for cutting threads for mechanical, low-pressure air or fluid applications.This super-efficient unit produces exacting right-hand directional threads on plastic-coated pipes that measure up to 3/4-inch (18 mm) NPS, creating clean 14 TPI. It is compatible with the RIDGID line of power drive threading machines and the 4A508 Manual Pipe Threader.
