Alemite 3014-B is a straight hydraulic 1/4 in.-28 taper thread fitting with overall length of 1-5/8 in., shank length of 1 in. And 5/16 in. Hex. The fitting is made of steel with trivalent zinc plating for increased resistance to corrosion and is RoHS compliant. The fitting features a Dirt-excluding check ball. It exceeds the 72 hour salt spray test. Alemite 1/4 in.-28 taper thread fittings are used on most cars and trucks, as well as many industrial machines. It is recommended that SAE-LT taper threads be assembled into 1/4"-28 UNF, Class 3B, straight threaded holes having a modified maximum minor diameter of 0.2151 in., to ensure 75% minimum thread height.
