The MSA V-Gard C1 (model 10215842) is a non-vented, hi-visibility orange full-brim hard hat engineered for heat-stress environments. It features the patent-pending ReflectIR Thermal Barrier to help keep the interior up to 20°F (11°C) cooler in sunny conditions, a moisture-wicking sweatband and breathable foam padding for comfort, and the Fas-Trac III ratchet suspension for an adjustable, secure fit. Meets ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (Non-Vented Class E) and CSA Z94.1-2015 (Non-Vented Class E). The full brim provides increased sun protection and the shell is made of durable polyethylene. Applications include construction, energy, manufacturing, mining, oil & gas, and utilities.
- FAS-TRAC III SUSPENSION: Designed based on opinions and input from hundreds of customers, our top-end Fas-Trac III suspension functions as an improved ratchet suspension. Flush rear lug attachments eliminate pressure points and three levels of nape strap adjustment give for a fully customized fit. Ratchet comfort pad is contoured to the back of the head, improving airflow and preventing hair-pulling. Ensure continued wear with drastically improved comfort and a graspable ratchet.
- MEETS PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS: V-Gard C1 Protective Caps meet or exceed all applicable requirements for a Type I (top impact) helmet as outlined in ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (Non-Vented Class E) and CSA Z94.1-2015 (Non-Vented Class E).
