Chicago Latrobe 190 reduced shank drill bit combines high-speed steel construction with a black oxide/coated finish for increased wear resistance and lubricity. It features a 5/8" (0.625") cutting diameter, 1/2" (0.500") reduced shank for use in larger drill chucks, a 118° conventional point for general-purpose drilling, 3-1/8" flute length and 6" overall length. The shank is straight-cylindrical (reduced shank type) with a 2.25" shank length (57.15 mm). Spiral flute design with 2 flutes and right-hand cutting direction. Tolerance: +0.0000 to -0.0012 in. Series 190, intended for portable drilling applications; suitable for wood and secondary workpiece materials including alloy steel, carbon steel and cast iron.
