The NUPLA Soft Steel Sledge is a durable soft-face sledge hammer built for controlled striking and heavy-duty work. It features an alloy steel head with a soft safety steel face to reduce rebound and protect striking surfaces, a 32-inch fiberglass handle with ribbed rubber grip for enhanced comfort and control, and a Rockwell 30 RHC head for long life. Head length is approximately 6 1/4 inches with a face diameter around 2 1/2 inches; head weight is 8 lb and total item weight is approximately 10 pounds.
