The Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT family delivers intelligent solar charge control with built-in Bluetooth for easy wireless setup, monitoring, updating and synchronisation. VE.Direct provides a wired data connection to Color Control GX, other GX products, PC or other devices. Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) improves energy harvest in variable light conditions. The load output prevents over-discharge of the battery and is short-circuit proof; the Battery Life intelligent battery management algorithm adjusts load disconnect levels to help ensure regular full recharges and prolong lead-acid battery life. Controllers offer programmable battery charge algorithms, day/night timing and light dimming options, internal temperature compensation for charge voltages, and support optional external battery voltage and temperature sensing via Smart Battery Sense or a BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor over Bluetooth.
