Nashua 398 heavy-duty, water-resistant duct tape combines enhanced durability with versatility for demanding indoor and outdoor tasks. The PE-coated cloth backing and aggressive rubber adhesive provide an 11.0 mil construction with 80 oz/in peel strength, 26 lb/in tensile strength and 21% elongation for flexibility without compromising durability. Recommended applications include adhering to metal, glass, plastic, wood, cardboard and sealed concrete for patching tarps, hanging sheeting, sealing bins and bags, bundling carpets and securing automotive components. Designed to perform from 40°F to 200°F and tested in accordance with UL 723, Nashua 398 carries a 36-month shelf life and low VOC content (<1 g/L) supporting LEED EQ Credit 4.1.
