Blue Sea Systems Contura III water-resistant switches provide a versatile, marine-grade switching solution for boat electrical panels and other demanding environments. Models are manufactured to mount in Blue Sea Systems Contura Water Resistant Panels and Contura switch mounting panels and are engineered to resist vibration, shock, thermoshock, moisture and salt spray. The line includes multiple circuit types (SPST, SPDT, DPST, DPDT) and action styles (ON-OFF-ON, OFF-(ON), (ON)-OFF-(ON), ON-ON, etc.), with various actuator types (rocker, push-button), terminal styles (screw, clamp, crimp, quick-connect) and contact materials (brass, bronze, stainless steel, phosphor bronze) across models. Contura III switches are ignition-protected and meet UL1500 and ISO8846 external ignition protection requirements; some models are CE marked and carry IP ratings such as IP44/IP54. Typical electrical ratings are 20A @ 12V DC and 15A @ 24V DC, making them suitable for marine and boat panel installations where durable, water-resistant switching is required.
