BlueSolar MPPT Charge Controllers from Victron Energy use ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) to improve energy harvest — up to 30% compared to PWM controllers and up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers under changing light conditions. The load output prevents battery over-discharge by disconnecting loads at a pre-set voltage; it is short-circuit proof and can be used with inverter remote controls (a special interface cable may be needed). The Battery Life algorithm monitors state of charge and adapts the load disconnect level to ensure regular near-full recharge and longer battery life. Programmable battery charge algorithms, day/night timing and light dimming options are supported (see the software section on our website for details). Programming, real-time data and history display can be done via Color Control GX or other GX devices, or with a smartphone/Bluetooth device using the VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle and VictronConnect.
