ATTWOOD stainless steel straight barbed thru-hull fittings are cast from certified Enhanced 316 Stainless Steel alloy for strength and lifetime corrosion-resistance. All visible areas are polished to a mirror finish and each part is passivated for added protection. Thick steel sidewalls withstand continual stress and hose flexing. Installation is simplified with a silicone gasket option, a channel under the flange to hold sealant, and wrench flats or an end notch so one installer can tighten connections from inside the hull. The barbed tail ends provide plenty of room to hold multiple clamps, and the Standard Thread models offer full-length thread for thick hulls and easy tightening. These fittings are recommended for boating and marine applications and are designed for installation above the water line, with Attwood's trusted lifetime warranty.
