The Victron Energy Lynx Smart BMS NG is a dedicated Battery Management System for Victron Lithium NG (LiFePO4) batteries and a core component of the modular Lynx Distributor family. Common features across the Lynx Smart BMS NG range include integration with M10 Lynx Distributor busbar products, a built-in main safety contactor for system protection, and a pre-charge circuit to prevent high inrush currents when connecting capacitive loads. The BMS provides an AUX terminal for powering devices after BMS shutdown, a programmable relay for alarms or alternator control, and monitoring of Lynx Distributor fuses (up to 4 modules). Communication and monitoring options include Bluetooth via the VictronConnect app as well as VE.Can and NMEA2000 integration, enabling readouts of cell voltages, temperatures, state of charge, voltage, current, historical data and diagnostic status information. The enclosure is ABS with protection class IP22 and an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +60 °C. The Lynx Smart BMS NG is intended to deliver reliable safety, monitoring and control for multi-battery configurations and system voltages of 12V, 24V and 48V.
