VICTRON ENERGY BatteryProtect BP Battery Disconnect (6-35 VDC)

BatteryProtect BP series by VICTRON ENERGY protects 6–35 VDC battery systems by disconnecting non-essential loads to prevent deep discharge and ensure starting capability. All models feature 12/24V auto detection, programmable engage and reconnect voltages selectable via a seven-segment display, and a special Li‑ion BMS control mode. The units use MOSFET switching for ignition-proof operation and include over-voltage protection that disconnects loads above the specified thresholds. Ultra-low current consumption preserves battery charge after low voltage shutdown. A delayed alarm output (short-circuit proof open collector to negative, max. 50 mA) activates when voltage remains below the preset disconnect level, and delayed load disconnect/reconnect timers prevent unnecessary switching during engine starts. The BatteryProtect can also be used as a charge interrupter between a charger and a Li‑ion battery. Refer to product documentation for wiring and installation guidance.
