Attwood stainless steel short straight barbed thru-hull fittings are designed for durable above-waterline marine hose connections. Cast from certified Enhanced 316 Stainless Steel alloy, all visible areas are mirror-polished and passivated to enhance corrosion resistance; thick steel sidewalls withstand continual stress and hose flexing. Installation is simplified with a silicone gasket, a flange channel to hold sealant, and wrench flats or an end notch to allow one installer to tighten connections from inside the hull. The barbed tail provides ample room to hold multiple clamps for a secure hose connection. The short thread format is more compact for installation near corners and in confined areas. Threaded female ends are compatible with 3888 drain fittings and A-Series aerator pump outlets.
