Jet-Lube Nikal® is an extreme-pressure, high-temperature anti-seize thread lubricant designed to prevent galling and excessive over-torque on threaded assemblies. The compound combines complex thickeners with Nikal flake to ensure even coverage across metal surfaces and a high static friction factor (K-Factor 0.15). Typical uses include lubrication of stud threads (apply root-to-crest), bearing surfaces between nuts and hardened washers, and flange contact areas where the nut will rest. The product is water-resistant and acid-resistant, visually black in appearance, and rated for service from -65°F (-54°C) to 2600°F (1427°C). Supplied in brush-top cans for precise application. Not for oxygen service; safety guidance includes wearing gloves and protective clothing, preventing entry to drains, and following recommended handling and storage practices.
