The Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT VE.Can family uses ultra-fast maximum power point tracking to convert available solar energy into optimal battery charging while maintaining battery health. Each model includes Bluetooth connectivity for configuration and monitoring with the VictronConnect app, plus VE.Can and VE.Direct ports for daisy-chaining multiple units, synchronized charging, and integration with GX monitoring devices. SmartSolar controllers can be programmed for different battery chemistries, include intelligent load output to prevent overdischarge, and can recover severely depleted batteries where cells are not permanently damaged. Available models support 150V or 250V PV input and a range of output current ratings; units offer remote on/off control, optional plug-in display/control, and support remote monitoring through the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal when connected to a GX device.
