FrogTape 225 Gold Medium-High Adhesion Masking Tape

FrogTape 225 Gold (CP 225) is a medium-high adhesion, performance-grade masking tape engineered for painting, metal fabrication, transportation, marine and general MRO applications. Each roll is 55M (60 yds) in length and the product delivers sharp paint lines, conformability and residue-free removal across a variety of substrates including metal, rubber, plastic, anodized aluminum, chrome and fiberglass. The rubber-based adhesive system provides reliable adhesion and clean removal, and the tape is resistant to water, salt water, various solvents and abrasives. Compatible with gel coats, multi-part epoxy topcoats, antifouling bottom paints, and both solvent-based and waterborne paints and coatings for automotive and marine use. Rated for temperatures up to 225°F for up to 30 minutes, with technical highlights including 5.9 mil thickness, ~11% elongation and tensile strength of 23 lbs/in width, offering a balance of strength and conformability for industrial applications.
