The OWC Thunderbay Flex 8 is a high-performance, versatile eight-bay Thunderbolt 3 storage enclosure and docking station designed for editors, photographers and media professionals. It supports SATA/SAS and U.2/M.2 NVMe drives and top-bay U.2 compatibility, enabling flexible, high-capacity drive configurations. Built-in PCIe x16 (x4 lane) expansion accepts add-in cards for audio/video capture, networking, SSD storage or other I/O, while front-mounted SD 4.0 and CFexpress readers and USB-C/USB-A ports simplify media ingest and device docking. Advanced SoftRAID management provides RAID creation, monitoring and drive integrity tools, making the Flex 8 ideal for high-throughput media and production workflows with support for large capacity configurations.
