Scotch Filament Tape 898 combines a durable polypropylene backing with glass yarn filaments to provide filament-reinforced, high-strength performance for demanding packaging and bundling tasks. The multi-layer synthetic-rubber adhesive system bonds readily to fiberboard, plastics and metal and helps prevent delamination while dispensing easily without curling. This clear tape resists nicks, abrasion, moisture and scuffing and is ideal for securing boxes, stabilizing pallets, bundling pipe and reinforcing bulk containers or any application requiring robust package integrity. Product details include a 6.6 mil thickness; the tape is described with high tensile strength and consistent, reliable adhesive performance.
