The Southwire Surge Guard 35550 is a 50 Amp hardwire surge protector designed for RV shore power protection. It provides 3850 Joules of multi-mode surge suppression, continuously monitors shore power and disconnects power in the event of surges, open ground/neutral, low or excessive voltage, miswired pedestals, reverse polarity, or elevated neutral current conditions to protect electronics in your coach. The permanently installed hardwire design prevents theft and exposure to the elements. Features include easy installation, a 128-second reset delay to protect A/C compressors, automatic reset on restoration of safe power, and compatibility with an optional remote LCD display for convenient remote monitoring.
