Ideal for cleaning engines, machinery, tools, tires, rims and undercarriages prior to treatment or painting, it dilutes with hot water (4:1 recommended; up to 10:1 as needed). Fast-acting and effective on a variety of surfaces including canvas, vinyl and nylon; use to prepare bare or rusted metal for POR-15 Metal Prep and subsequent coatings. • ✅ APPLICATIONS - POR-15 Cleaner Degreaser should be diluted with hot water. Four parts water to one part Cleaner Degreaser (4:1) works well for most jobs; but may be diluted up to ten parts water to one part Cleaner Degreaser (10:1). After using Cleaner Degreaser rinse the area thoroughly with water. Metal Surfaces cleaned with Cleaner Degreaser should always then be treated with POR-15 Metal Prep before painting.
• WATER BASED - Unlike most solvent-based cleaners POR-15 Non-flammable Cleaner Degreaser, is water based so it cleans without leaving films.
