POR-15 Top Coat Paint (Chassis Black) is a direct-to-metal, oil-based topcoat formulated for long-term sheen and color retention. Available in a 1 quart can (32 fl oz), this gloss finish topcoat provides exceptional durability and UV resistance. POR-15 Top Coat can be applied directly to metal substrates or previously painted surfaces and is best used over POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating for maximum corrosion protection. It dries to touch in 30–60 minutes and continues to harden over 3–4 days (longer in temperatures below 55°F / 15°C). The product forms a tough, moisture-shedding barrier that resists cracking and peeling and is suitable for exterior metal use including chassis and other automotive applications. • ✅ APPLICATION - All surfaces must be clean and free of all dirt, loose rust, oil, grease, wax, soap, loose paint & any other matter. Use 25-30 lbs (170Kpa-210pa) pressure for normal gloss. It dries to touch in 30-60 minutes. POR-15 Top Coat can take 3-4 days to reach maximum hardness, and longer in temperatures below 55°F (15°C).
