The NOCO BGU1 is a Group U1 battery box for lawn and garden, generators, gate openers, and other related equipment, and more. This battery box features an all-new rugged and snap-lock design making it more durable and easier to install than ever before. Its simplified mounting allows for installation without a battery strap using pre-drilled internal pilot holes or a battery strap mount for more demanding applications. It safely protects batteries from unwanted battery movement, accidental shorting of battery terminals, collects battery acid, and allows adequate ventilation. And it meets with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Code of Federal Regulations 183.420 and American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) E-10.7 specifications. It includes the BGU1 Group U1 Battery Box, 36-Inch Battery Hold-Down Strap, Battery Mounting Tray, and Four (4) #8x1-Inch Self-Tapping Screws. The NOCO Snap-Top design improves cable routing with enhanced entry ports (front and sides), optional ventilation holes for additional airflow, and a reinforced honeycomb lattice structure for impact resistance down to -20ºF (-28ºC). Constructed to resist acid, gas, UV, and oil, this battery box offers versatile mounting options and robust protection for Group U1 12V batteries used in lawn & garden equipment, generators, gate openers and related applications.
