Dometic A&E Awning Lift Handle replacement kit. Contains one lift handle, two 3/16" pop rivets and one hex nut for secure installation. The handle features an ergonomic vinyl-coated grip and painted finish to deter rust and corrosion. Designed to replace lift handles on Dometic and A & E Models 8500 & 9000 manual operation patio awnings. Installation Instructions: 1. Drill out rivets of existing handle using a 3/16" bit or remove screws. 2. Place new lift handle in punched slot of main arm and align rivet holes. 3. Insert rivet through hole in main arm. 4. Place hex nut over rivet shaft and tight against riven shoulder. If nut is not used, rivet will not seat properly for securing. 5. Secure handle by pulling rivet tight with pop rivet gun. 6. Repeat steps 3-5 on second rivet.
