Dometic 94398 Thermal Cut-Off is a replacement safety device for Dometic/Atwood RV water heaters designed to permanently open the circuit and shut down the water heater if excessive heat is detected. The device mounts on the incoming power wire and is connected to the thermostat. It protects the water heater from damage caused by obstructions in the main burner tube or flue tube (for example spiders or mud wasps) that can cause the main burner flame to burn outside the main burner tube. This thermal cut-off is compatible with a wide range of Dometic/Atwood models (including many G6A, G10, GC, GCH, GH, GE, and WH series models) and offers quick and simple installation.
