Permatex Form-A-Gasket is a family of gasket sealants designed for sealing cut gaskets, stamped parts, valve cover and oil pan gaskets, rigid materials and flanges. These sealants resist common shop fluids and fuels and are rated to operate from -65°F to 400°F. The line includes formulations that remain elastic and non-hardening to allow easy disassembly, as well as fast-drying, hard-setting formulations for permanent assembly or for patching holes and joints where a permanent seal is desired. When a chemical gasket is not an option, Form-A-Gasket products provide flexible solutions for both import and domestic vehicle applications.
- Suggested Applications: Valve cover gaskets, and oil pan gaskets
- Temperature Range: -65°F to 400°F (-54°C to 204°C)
- Allows for easy disassembly if required; resists gasoline, oil and grease
