3M Hookit Gold Film Disc 255L Aluminum Oxide Hookit Hook-and-Loop

The 3M Hookit Gold Film Disc 255L family features aluminum oxide abrasive grains bonded to a flexible film backing for a consistent finish and greater tear-resistance than comparable paper products. Open coat construction places abrasive grains to reduce clogging while the load-resistant coating helps the disc continue cutting on softwoods, paints and other materials prone to loading. The Hookit hook-and-loop attachment allows quick grade changes and reuse of discs during sanding operations. These coated abrasive discs are resin-bonded for heat resistance and are suited for woodworking, paint/lacquer sanding, finish prep and defect repair using random orbital and disc sanders. When used with a Hookit dust-free backup pad and a vacuum system, the discs support improved dust control for better working conditions and disc performance.
