The 3M Wetordry Sandpaper family provides flexible, waterproof-backed sheets designed for wet or dry sanding. Common features across the line include 9 x 11 inch sheets, five sheets per pack, and abrasive formulations that most often use silicon carbide for long life and effective finishing. These sheets can be used by hand or with sanding machines and are suitable for auto body repair, smoothing putty, removing dust nibs, polishing clear coat, and finishing on metal, plastic and wood surfaces. Available in a full range of grits (examples: 220, 400, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000) to cover tasks from scuffing and putty preparation to fine polishing and clear coat finishing.
