Permatex RTV Silicone Gasket Maker

Permatex RTV Silicone Gasket Maker products deliver sensor-safe, non-corrosive, oil- and fluid-resistant sealants formulated for automotive and heavy-duty applications. Designed to form leak-proof, elastomeric gaskets in place, the gasket makers resist oil, ATF, coolant and other shop fluids while maintaining flexibility and torque retention under vibration and thermal expansion. Typical applications include valve covers, oil pans, intake manifold end seals, timing covers, transmission pans and differential covers. Variants in the line reference temperature performance up to 500°F intermittent and low-temperature performance down to -75°F in certain formulations. Many products are formulated to meet OE gasket performance, adhere to a range of materials including aluminum, metal and plastic, and eliminate the need for pre-cut gaskets in service and production settings.
