Permatex High Temperature Thread Sealant

Permatex High Temperature Thread Sealant is a high-temperature thread lubricant and sealant designed for automotive and industrial threaded fittings. It lubricates threads for easier assembly and disassembly while locking and sealing threaded connections to help prevent leakage and vibration loosening. The sealant resists moisture, hydraulic fluids and diesel fuels and won’t shred like PTFE tape; parts may be repositioned up to four hours after application. Formulated to operate from -65°F to 400°F, the product is suitable for a variety of threaded applications and is compatible with metals and many plastics and composite materials.

• Suggested Applications: head bolts into through holes, oil PSI sending units and sensors, oil and coolant lines, fuel fittings, rear axle fill plug, brake and power steering fittings
