Royal Purple HMX SAE 5W-30 High-Mileage Synthetic Motor Oil is engineered to protect and restore performance in higher-mileage gasoline passenger car and light-truck engines. Formulated with Synerlec proprietary additive technology and robust zinc/phosphorus anti-wear compounds, HMX revitalizes hardened seals, reduces oil consumption, removes engine deposits, and reduces friction and metal-to-metal contact for peak engine performance. The advanced formulation provides outstanding oxidation resistance and ionic attraction to metal surfaces for protection at start-up. Recommended for engines beyond 75,000 miles, HMX can safely extend oil drain intervals up to 15,000 miles or 12 months in mechanically-sound engines with proper filtration; Royal Purple recommends initial short clean-up drain intervals when converting to HMX to thoroughly clean the engine.
