The Ideal-Tridon Hy-Gear 50 Series stainless steel worm gear hose clamp combines a stainless steel band (SAE 201) and SAE 301 stainless steel housing with a zinc-plated carbon steel screw to resist scaling, corrosion and rust. The worm gear mechanism permits precise application of sealing pressure while the 9/16\" band width increases sealing area compared with narrower clamps. The slotted 5/16\" hex-head screw accepts blade screwdrivers, nut drivers or socket wrenches for installation.
