Permatex high-temperature red gasket maker is a premium RTV silicone gasket maker designed for demanding automotive high-heat applications. The formula resists high temperatures (listed up to 650–750°F), aging, weathering and thermal cycling without hardening, shrinking or cracking, while remaining resistant to oils and common shop fluids. Sensor-safe and non-corrosive, it provides strong adhesion, flexibility and durable seals for headers, manifolds, slip-fit exhaust parts and turbocharger applications. Marketed under the Permatex brand, this gasket maker can be used as a gasket dressing or full gasket maker to meet OEM-style performance requirements.
