The M.K. MORSE MHS Bi-Metal Hole Saw series is an optimized, heavy-duty line of one-piece hole saws designed for fast, clean cutting across a broad range of materials. Common features across the MHS family include a .050" heavy-duty side wall for added stability, a red exterior coating to reduce side-wall friction, an enlarged side slot to improve and speed slug removal, and an improved cap to reduce runout and vibration. Many models use M42 bi-metal construction with a toothed, variable-pitch cutting edge and a patent-pending tooth set engineered to remove material faster. Typical cutting depth listed for multiple sizes is approximately 1-15/16" (1.937"), and select sizes list compatibility with arbor numbers 41295015 and 41295031 or with common hole saw arbors.
