The Vertiv Liebert GXT5 EBC (GXT5-EBC144VRT2U) is an external hot-swappable battery cabinet designed to extend runtime for Liebert GXT5 series UPS systems. Compatible with GXT5-5000MVRT4UXLN and GXT5-6000MVRT4UXLN, this 2U rack/tower-convertible cabinet uses sealed lead-acid (SLA) batteries with lead-acid chemistry, supports auto-detection connectivity for simplified setup, and includes features such as external temperature compensation sensors and user-replaceable, hot-swappable battery modules. Ideal for data center and network-critical applications requiring scalable runtime, the unit supports connection of multiple external battery cabinets to a single UPS and is backed by Vertiv factory warranty and optional extended coverage.
