SCREENBEAM MoCA 2.5 Network Adapter (Ethernet-over-Coax)
Customize
SCREENBEAM MoCA 2.5 Network Adapters turn existing in-home coax into high-performance Ethernet connections, improving speed, latency and reliability compared with wireless. On a MoCA 2.5 network they can deliver up to 2.5 Gbps (with multiple nodes) and provide up to 1 Gbps per adapter depending on device capabilities; they remain backward compatible with 10/100/1000 Mbps devices. Ideal for gaming, 4K/HD streaming, remote Wi‑Fi access points and extending wired coverage to rooms with coax jacks, these adapters support up to 16 nodes on a single network. Packages include power adapters, Ethernet and coax cables, coax splitters and a Quick Start Guide; check compatibility with your router and existing MoCA devices. Note: some DOCSIS 3.1 modems may conflict due to frequency overlap and some satellite or certain ISP coax networks are not compatible; consult your ISP if needed. Most FiOS routers have MoCA built-in.
- Boost Your MoCA Network with this add-on for a 2.5 Gbps ethernet-coax connection, outdoing traditional Wi-Fi speeds. Speeds vary due to network traffic, materials, and connected devices. Check compatibility with MoCA 2.5 adapter for optimal performance.
- Enhance Gaming and Streaming with our Carrier-Grade ECB7250 featuring a 2.5Gbps network ethernet port for top 4K/HD performance. Full speed requires compatible 2.5Gbps devices; otherwise, it’s backward compatible with 10/100/1000 Mbps devices.
- Add on to Your Starter Kit for a robust Ethernet network with MoCA Adapter 2.5, outperforming wireless for speed, latency, and security between router and any device with an Ethernet port. Supports up to 16 nodes on one network.
- Router Requirements: Built-in or added MoCA capability for network connections. Most FiOS routers have MoCA built-in. Each network device (up to 16) needs a MoCA Adapter. Rooms with coax jacks need an ECB for Ethernet. Check coax MoCA compatibility.
- Device Compatibility: This MoCA adapter for ethernet over coax works with most devices and routers with an ethernet port. However, some DOCSIS 3.1 modems might conflict (frequency overlap) and cause random disconnects. Check with your ISP for a fix.
- Non-Compatibility: This MoCA ethernet to coax adapter is not compatible with Direct TV, Dish or other satellite TV, AT&T internet, or AT&T U-verse coax networks. Comcast only supports MoCA 2.0 with Xfinity XB8. Turn off MoCA in your Comcast gateway to take full advantage of MoCA 2.5 in ECB6250 and ECB7250 Adapters
- What’s Included? This package provides an add on to your MoCA 2.5 network setup with 1 ECB7250 Adapter, 1 Power Adapter, 2 Ethernet Cables, 1 Coax Cable, 1 Coax Splitter, and a Quick Start Guide.
