TRIPP LITE SmartOnline tower UPS systems are designed to protect servers, networking equipment and telecom systems from power outages, voltage fluctuations and transient surges. These true on-line, double-conversion UPS units provide pure sine wave output with zero transfer time to battery for the highest level of power protection. Common features include an LCD status display for menu-driven analytics, USB and DB9 communication ports for messaging and management, and individually controllable load banks to reboot select equipment or optimize battery runtime. Runtime is expandable with optional external battery packs and units include replaceable internal batteries (user-replaceable/hot-swappable as noted in variant descriptions). PowerAlert UPS management software is available via free download to monitor UPS operational parameters.
