BOSCH RESM6X2 5 pc. 6 In. 8/10 TPI Edge Reciprocating Saw Blades for Thick Metal, Gold

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The BOSCH line of metal drill bits offers a solution for every professional application. Each bit is manufactured to exacting specifications and features a split point that starts on contact with no walking or skating, eliminating the need for a center punch. BOSCH black oxide bits offer superior durability, speed and selection to support most general-purpose applications. AMAZON.COM Thanks to an innovative design that includes Bosch's exclusive Micro-Edge technology, the Bosch RESM6X2 Edge Blade for Heavy Metal is the most durable and longest-lasting metal-cutting blade in its class. When it comes to cutting faster, cutting longer, and at a lower cost per cut, this reciprocating saw blade is an ideal choice. Perfect for angle cuts in thick-gauge metal, the Bosch RESM6X2 has a stay-sharp precision edge for fast cutting, it features increased body height and thickness for straighter cuts, and it is constructed of powder metal steel alloy for maximum heat resistance and blade life.Bosch Edge: The Longest-Lasting Metal Cutting Blades on the MarketPart of Bosch's new line of Edge reciprocating metal cutting saw blades, the RESM6X2 is made for cutting heavy-duty metal. With a thickness measuring .042 inch and a length/TPI of six inches/8+10 TPI, this blade is ideal for repetitive, precise, accurate angle cuts in thick-gauge metal. And with a cutting speed of 16.1 seconds and a 23-cut life--65 percent faster cuts and double the life of the leading competitor--this is a smart, dependable investment for your metal cutting jobs.Edge blades' ability to cut faster and last longer is due in large part to the technology behind their base material, which is a powder metal steel alloy. This material has a higher heat resistance than the bi-metal found on most blades. This superior heat resistance is not only critical to metal cutting applications, but it also extends the life of the blade.Micro-Edge Technology for Well-Defined, Clean Surfaces and Longer LifeThe durability of Edge blades is also owed to the design and manufacturing of their teeth. After the teeth are sharpened in a precision grinding process, they are hit with a micro-blast tooth treatment that keeps the cutting edge sharper longer. Whereas standard technology results in a rough tooth surface that causes the teeth to tear out quickly, Bosch's technology results in well-defined, clean surfaces that resist damage.Adding to the micro-blast treatment is Bosch's patented 2x2 tooth geometry, which features an alternating tooth pitch (reinforced tooth followed by an aggressive tooth) that produces 20 percent faster cutting speeds and exceptional durability. The result is the longest-lasting blades in the industry. What's in the BoxOne pack of RESM6X2 Edge reciprocating metal cutting saw blades (five blades). FROM THE MANUFACTURER The new Bosch Edge Blade for Heavy Metal features an innovative cutting edge treatment. New blade material is optimized for metal cutting application and goes through a specialized manufacturing process. Bosch optimized micro-geometry creates a design which results in a specially treated, well defined clean surface tooth surface giving the blade a prolonged blade life. These are the longest lasting metal cutting blades in the market. With a 50% longer life than Lenox Gold, and faster cutting and less vibration than leading competitors. See more
