3M PELTOR X4 Series over-the-head earmuffs deliver reliable hearing protection for construction, manufacturing, assembly and sanding tasks. Constructed with impact-resistant ABS plastic cups and advanced slow-recovery, high-density foam ear cup inserts, the X4 Series balances attenuation and comfort. The twin stainless steel wire headband maintains consistent force over extended wear while reducing heat buildup, and tilting pivot points and a low-profile cup design improve fit and compatibility with other PPE and hard hats. Replaceable ear cushions and foam liners support hygiene and extended use and are compatible with available hygiene kits. Noise Reduction Rating is typically between 25–27 dB depending on attachment type.
