The 3M Disc Pad Holder family features firm-density backing pads with a 1/8 in foam layer designed to hold Scotch-Brite surface conditioning discs on right angle grinders and sanders. The thin foam layer provides a slight cushion while the firm density supports an aggressive cut on flat sanding applications. T-shaped hooks securely hold discs and the hook-and-loop feature enables quick and easy disc attachment, removal and re-use for the life of the abrasive; discs are sold separately. These holders are intended for metal grinding, finishing, surface preparation, deburring, cleaning, blending and producing paint-ready finishes.
