Each contains PTFE and works equally well in fresh or salt water. Marelube TEF45 is a highly water-resistant synthetic grease containing 45% PTFE — the highest percentage PTFE available — making TEF45 perfect for heavy loads and bi-metal anti-corrosion applications like turnbuckles, spar fittings and motor lower units. TEF45 also protects against rust corrosion and serves as an anti-seize. Features include max PTFE heavy-load formulation, high water resistance, and bi-metal corrosion protection.
