Air-Dryr™ Mildew Fighter — the Davis Instruments Air-Dryr 1000 is a compact, silent convection air dryer designed to discourage condensation and moisture build-up in enclosed spaces. Handles up to 1000 cubic feet of living space while drawing only ~1.1 amps (130 watts). The circular unit measures about 13.5" in diameter and approximately 4.25" high; EU model capacity is ~28 cubic meters. Air-Dryr gently warms incoming cool, moist air so moisture remains suspended and is released through the top vents; warmed air rises and cooler damp air is drawn in to repeat the process. Designed for continuous 24-hour operation, the unit is trouble-free (no switch, fan, or thermostat), safe to the touch, silent, UL listed, and suitable for marine use (no sparking components). Key uses: basements, closets, under desks, storage units, tack rooms, pump rooms, gun cabinets, pianos, RVs, motor homes, trailers, cars, airplanes, boats, cabins, bilges, engine rooms and V-berths. Constructed with a durable polycarbonate housing in neutral beige, the Air-Dryr is slim, stable, low-cost to operate (about the energy equivalent of a 100W light bulb), and includes a thermal cutoff for added safety if airflow is impeded.
