Jabsco flexible impellers fit most makes and models of bronze flexible-impeller engine cooling, bilge, transfer and general purpose pumps. They undergo rigorous quality processes to ensure reliable, efficient and long-lasting performance. Replace impellers at least once every year or sooner depending on engine duty. When installed correctly an impeller may last several years, but preventative maintenance is recommended. Replacing impellers is easy: remove end cover screws and remove the impeller using a Jabsco Impeller Removal Tool or channel lock pliers to grip the hub. Do not use screwdrivers as they can damage the pump body and cause leaks. Always carry spare impellers on board in case of emergency. Grease new impellers to ease installation and protect during initial prime. After replacing the gasket and end cover the pump is ready to use.
