Galaxy Style 5228-1, 1 ft Heavy-Duty Extension Mast. One foot length. Constructed of high-quality Shakespeare white fiberglass, and finished to match Galaxy antennas. This 1" diameter extension mast can be used to increase height of an antenna and thus improve effective range, or to boost placement of an antenna above on-board obstructions. For light to moderate applications. Excellent for use with GPS or TV antennas to clear on-board obstructions. Stainless steel upper and lower ferrules with standard 1in-14 thread. Mount: Shakespeare Style 409-R or 410-R Mounting Kit (sold separately). One section, actual length 12". Use an upper support bracket (sold separately) if the length of antenna and mast total more than eight feet. Color: Galaxy White. Construction: Fiberglass. Ferrule Type: Stainless Steel.
