Contactor 250A, 12/24V. This 250A Egis contactor reduces installation cost and weight by enabling remote switching of high-ampere engines and auxiliary loads, eliminating long cable runs to manual switches. The unit is hermetically sealed against dust and moisture intrusion for long-life reliability. High contact voltage rating supports 12 or 24 Vdc control voltage applications and higher switching voltages up to 48 V and beyond. Features ignition protection for safe installation in closed compartments where explosive gases may be present. High electrical switching endurance delivers long life (industry-rated cycles). High interrupt current capability allows safe opening in locked starter situations (up to 1,500 A @14 Vdc). Bullet-proof construction includes sealed device, high-temperature materials for engine compartment use, and 18-8 stainless steel self-locking hardware for corrosion resistance. Reinforced mounting holes provide easy, secure installation. Industry-leading 4 year warranty.
