To Perfect Condition. The seven-step charging algorithm gets the most out of a battery. The charger gives the battery the power it needs, maintains its health, ensures better performance... and gives it a longer life. Recovery of Deeply-Discharged ‘Dead’ Batteries. Unlike other brands, the Blue Smart IP65 Charger will attempt to recharge a deeply-discharged battery by force-feeding it with a low current. Normal charging will then be resumed as soon as there is sufficient voltage across the battery terminals. Connect the Battery with Ease. The charger comes with both crocodile clips and M8 eyelets, making it easy to connect to the battery. If users wish, they can leave it permanently connected. Check the Status of the Battery Remotely. The Blue Smart IP65 is equipped with built-in Bluetooth, so the status of the charger and the battery can be checked on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. All settings of the charger can be configured with the VictronConnect app. Specifications include input voltage 120 VAC, efficiency ~95%, very low standby power, minimum battery voltage start down to 0V, multi-mode charge voltages for Normal/High/Li-ion, 5/8A charge current options and low current modes, temperature compensation for lead-acid batteries, protection against reverse polarity, short circuit and over temperature, operation from -40 to +60°C (full rated output up to 30°C), and enclosure protection IP65. Charger includes 1.5 m battery cable with crocodile clips and 1.8 m AC cable with US NEMA 1-15 plug. Portable and suitable for marine, RV, workshop and vehicle use.
