Series 55 Ball Bearing Orbit Block - Single - Becket - Swivel Head. Lightweight: the BB and RT Orbit Blocks™ are designed to minimize inactive bearing mass resulting in the world's lightest blocks for their working load. The orbital design keeps bearings in active areas of the floating sheave to reduce weight and bulk. The ball-bearing single and becket block features a through-sheave becket arrangement giving lowest possible weight. Multi-sheave blocks use single intermediate cheeks and an ultra-light head arrangement for a 30% weight saving compared to competitors. The orbital ball-bearing arrangement maximizes bearing race diameter and load performance. The Ronstan 2-stage bearing system uses high compression grade acetal ball bearings and a secondary full-contact bearing for minimal friction across load ranges. The floating sheave and bearing system are supported by a fiber-reinforced load frame optimized by computer stress analysis. The Dyneema link uses FSE Robline SK75 fiber for a strong, lightweight connection.
