Automatic Ratchet: with automatic models the ratchet mechanism engages when load is applied but disengages when released, allowing the sheet to run out smoothly — great for rapid easing and gybing asymmetric spinnakers. Highest holding power available: the sophisticated NC‑machined sheave with Generation 2 cross‑hole geometry delivers up to 14:1 holding power, distributing load across eight gripping faces and minimising rope wear. Simple and secure attachment: Dyneema link retained by a moulded retainer clip, compatible with Dyneema/Spectra strops, webbing and carbon connection points. Smooth easing of sheets with automatic disengagement. Low profile stand‑up kit allows 0° or 90° alignment and features a clatter‑free rubber boot for full articulation. Materials: sheave — hard anodised aluminium; ball bearings — high compression strength carbon black acetal; frame/cheeks — toughened, glass fiber reinforced nylon; rope link — UV stabilized, multi‑strand impregnated SK75 Dyneema.
