3M Performance Plus Duct Tape 8979 in slate blue. 2 in width, 12.1 mil thickness, rubber adhesive on polyethylene foam backing. 36 lb/in tensile strength. Designed for box closing, bundling, holding, identifying, joining, pipe bundling, protecting, reinforcing, sealing, splicing and tabbing. Length 54.8 m (60 yd) per roll; Series 8979. Conforms to ASTM E-84 and UL 723. Rated up to 200°F (93°C). Outdoor, UV tolerant; strong water-resistant backing resists wear and light abrasion. Removes cleanly from most opaque surfaces for up to 6 months. Case-pack and package dimensions vary; product often sold in cases (example: case of 24, 45 lb carton).
